Your TrendLife account at account.trendlife.com is the central hub for everything related to your Trend Micro protection. From here, you can check how many days remain on your subscription, see exactly which devices are covered, update your credit card before auto-renewal, and download a fresh installer if you get a new computer. Taking a few minutes to get familiar with the dashboard means you’ll always know the state of your security — and you’ll be able to act fast if something needs attention.
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) right away. Your TrendLife account holds your license keys, billing details, and device access — it’s a high-value target. Enabling 2FA under Account Settings → Security means that even if your password is compromised, no one can access your account without your phone. Use an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator for the strongest protection.

Signing In to Your TrendLife Account

1

Go to account.trendlife.com

Open any browser and navigate to account.trendlife.com. This works on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
2

Enter your credentials

Type the email address and password you used when you first registered or activated your Trend Micro product. These may differ from any retailer account (e.g., Amazon) you used to purchase.
3

Complete two-factor verification (if enabled)

If you have 2FA turned on, you’ll be prompted to enter the time-based code from your authenticator app or approve a push notification. This step only adds a few seconds and keeps your account safe.
4

Recover a forgotten password

Can’t remember your password? Click Forgot Password on the sign-in page, enter your registered email address, and follow the reset link sent to your inbox. Check your spam folder if the email doesn’t arrive within a few minutes.
5

Land on your Dashboard

Once signed in, you’ll arrive at your account Dashboard, which shows a summary of your active subscriptions, device count, and any alerts (such as an upcoming renewal or a device that hasn’t connected recently).

What You Can Do From Your Account

Here’s a quick overview of the four most important management tasks available to you:

View Licenses & Expiry Dates

Navigate to My Subscriptions to see every active (and expired) license tied to your account. Each entry shows the product name, the number of devices covered, and the exact expiry date. You can also see whether auto-renewal is toggled on or off for each subscription.

Add or Remove Protected Devices

Under My Devices, you’ll find a list of every computer, smartphone, or tablet currently consuming a license seat. Click Remove next to any device you no longer own or want to protect, then use the freed slot to add a new device by downloading and installing the product on it.

Update Payment Information

Go to Billing & Payments to add a new credit or debit card, remove an old one, or change which card is used for auto-renewal. Keeping this up to date prevents your subscription from lapsing due to a declined payment when renewal time comes.

Download Product Installers

Visit Downloads to grab the latest installer for any product in your account. This is useful when setting up a new device, performing a clean reinstall, or upgrading to a newer version of the software without waiting for an automatic update.

Managing Your Active Licenses

When you click into a specific subscription under My Subscriptions, you get a detailed view of that license:
  • Status — Active, Expired, or Pending Activation
  • Devices used / allowed — For example, “3 of 5 devices protected”
  • Expiry date — Shown in your local time zone
  • Auto-renewal toggle — Switch it on or off at any time before the renewal date
  • Renewal price — The amount that will be charged if auto-renewal is enabled
If your license shows as Expired but you recently renewed, allow up to 30 minutes for the system to sync your new subscription. If it still shows expired after an hour, contact Trend Micro support and have your order number ready.

Adding and Removing Devices

Your license covers a set number of devices (typically 1, 3, or 5 depending on your plan). To swap out a device:
1

Go to My Devices

From the left-hand navigation, select My Devices. You’ll see each device listed by name, operating system, and the last time it connected to Trend Micro’s servers.
2

Remove a device you no longer use

Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the device, then select Remove Device. The license seat is freed immediately and becomes available for a new device.
3

Install on a new device

On your new device, visit account.trendlife.com, sign in, go to Downloads, and download the installer for your platform (Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS). Run the installer and sign in with your TrendLife credentials — the new device will appear in your device list automatically.

Contacting Support from Your Account

If you run into any issue you can’t resolve on your own, your TrendLife account gives you fast access to support channels:
  1. Live Chat — Available 24/7 from the Help & Support section. A support agent can verify your account directly, making resolution faster than contacting support without being signed in.
  2. Submit a Case — For complex issues, use Submit a Support Case to attach screenshots, describe the problem in detail, and track the status of your ticket.
  3. Community Forums — Access the Trend Micro Community directly from your account to search for solutions shared by other customers and Trend Micro engineers.
Trend Micro will never proactively call you claiming your computer has a virus and ask you to log in to your account. If you receive such a call, hang up — it is a scam. Always initiate contact yourself through official channels at trendmicro.com.
